Abstract:
A disc brake includes: a bottomed tubular piston which presses an inner and an outer brake pad onto a disc rotor; a nut member (propulsion member) which propels the piston by rotation of a spindle driven by an electric motor; an anti-rotation member which restricts rotation of the nut member relative to the piston; a flat section which is provided inside the piston and restricts rotation of the anti-rotation member to lock the same; and a fixing member which restricts movement of the anti-rotation member in the axial direction relative to the piston. This allows the nut member to be easily produced.
