Abstract:
A discriminator according to an embodiment comprises: a filter bank having a plurality of matched filters, each of which has a response characteristic with respect to a specific waveform signal and converts a time-series input signal into a plurality of specific quantities in accordance with the respective response characteristics; a softmax function for receiving the plurality of specific quantities and converting the same into a probability distribution; and a loss function for deriving a cross entropy error between the probability distribution and class labels, the respective parameters of the plurality of matched filters being adjusted on the basis of the cross entropy error.
