Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a disease prediction system and the like for assessing, by means of a simple method, the possibility that an animal may contract a disease in the future. A disease prediction system provided with a reception means for receiving an input of a facial image of an animal, excluding humans, and an assessment means for using a learned model to output a prediction regarding the contraction of a disease by the animal as inferred from the facial image of the animal that has been input to the reception means, said disease prediction system being characterized in that the learned model involves learning using, as teaching data, a facial image of an animal, excluding humans, and the presence or absence of a contracted disease within a prescribed period from the time at which the image of the animal was captured, and receives an input in the form of a facial image of an animal and provides an output in the form of a prediction regarding the contraction of a disease by the animal.
