Title:
DISEASE-RESISTANT CROP USING TOXOFLAVIN-DEGRADING GENE, PLANT TRANSFORMATION VECTOR,, AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/231177
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a disease-resistant crop using a toxoflavin-degrading gene, a plant transformation vector, and a use thereof and, more specifically, to the development of a crop resistant to rice grain rot and upland-crop wilt by introducing a gene for degrading toxoflavin into a plant. According to the present invention, a vector comprising a toxoflavin-degrading gene can be used for the production of a plant resistant to toxoflavin. In addition, a plant having been transformed using a vector of the present invention is resistant to toxoflavin causing diseases, and thus present invention can be used in order to enhance resistance to rice grain rot and upland-crop wilt caused by Burkholderia glumae.
