Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a disk cartridge and a cartridge case capable of preventing damage to an outer peripheral edge part of a disk-like recording medium. [Solution] A disk cartridge pertaining to an embodiment of the present technology comprises a disk-like recording medium and a cartridge case. This cartridge case has a pair of side surface sections, a front surface section, and protrusion parts. The pair of side surface sections respectively have groove parts for supporting an outer peripheral edge part of this disk-like recording medium and face with each other in a first axial direction. The front surface section has an opening part which opens in a second axial direction orthogonal to the first axial direction, and through which the disk-like recording medium is ejected from a housing section formed between the pair of side surface sections. The protrusion parts have top portions which protrude in the first axial direction from the bottom of the groove parts toward the outer peripheral edge part of the disk-like recording medium and are able to selectively come into contact with a center part in a thickness direction of the outer peripheral edge part of the disk-like recording medium.
