Abstract:
This displacement detection device comprises: a wave transmitter which transmits modulation waves having multiple frequencies to an object; a wave receiver which receives reflection waves from the object and generates a reception signal indicative of a reception result; and a control unit which controls transmission of the modulation waves by the wave transmitter and acquires the reception signal from the wave receiver. The control unit: outputs, during a first measurement period, a first transmission signal for causing the wave transmitter to transmit the modulation waves and acquires a first reception signal in response thereto; extracts first phase information that is indicative of a phase defined by a correlation between the first transmission and reception signals; outputs, during a second measurement period subsequent to the first measurement period, a second transmission signal to the wave transmitter and acquires a second reception signal in response thereto; extracts second phase information that is indicative of a phase in a correlation between the second transmission and reception signals; and detects a displacement of the object in the first and second measurement periods in accordance with the difference between the first phase information and the second phase information.
