The present invention relates to a display device and a method for driving a display device. The method for driving a display device according to the present invention may comprise the steps of: displaying, on a display unit, a first input menu including multiple keys arranged in a first direction; changing a highlighted key among the multiple keys to the first direction on the first menu, if a motion command corresponding to the first direction is inputted; selecting the highlighted key on the first input menu, if a motion command corresponding to a second direction is inputted, the second direction intersecting with the first direction; and executing a command corresponding to the selected key or displaying, on the display unit, an image corresponding to the selected key.
