Abstract:
A display device (1) is provided with: a plurality of pixel electrodes (31-33); a common electrode (7) shared by the pixel electrodes (31-33); and a light-emitting layer (6) held between the pixel electrodes (31-33) and the common electrode (7). The light-emitting layer (6) has quantum dots (131) covered with ferritin (141). Each of the pixel electrodes (31-33) and the quantum dots (131) are coupled through a peptide modifying the ferritin (141).
