Abstract:
A display device 20 according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an acquisition unit 420 which acquires, from a ranging device, ranging data obtained by measuring the distance to and the direction of a range measurement target point using a ranging device; a position information acquisition unit 421 which acquires information relating to a current position; an arithmetic operation unit 450 which calculates position information of the range measurement target point on the basis of the ranging data and the information relating to the current position; and a display unit 460 which displays the position information of the range measurement target point. Accordingly, when measurements are made of the distance to and the direction of a range measurement target point using the ranging device, it is possible to obtain highly accurate position information for a given range measurement target point by combining the highly accurate ranging data with the information relating to the current position of the display device 20.
