Abstract:
Provided is: an imaging device capable of clearly capturing images of fingerprints and the like; or a display device. This display device comprises: a light reception element; a light emission element; a first substrate; a second substrate; a first resin layer; a second resin layer; and a light-blocking layer. The first resin layer, the second resin layer, and the second substrate are stacked on the first substrate. The light reception element and the light emission element are located between the first substrate and the first resin layer. The light-blocking layer is located between the first and second resin layers, and has an opening overlapping with the light reception element. The opening of the light-blocking layer is located inside a light reception region of the light reception element in a plan view, and has a width that is smaller than or equal to the width of the light reception region. The second substrate is thicker than the first and second resin layers. The thickness of the first resin layer at a portion thereof overlapping with the light reception region of the light reception element is 1-10 times the width of the light reception region. The second substrate has a refractive index higher than those of the first and second resin layers.
