Abstract:
Disclosed is a display device comprising: an input/output unit for requesting a content provision device to provide content having a first resolution, so as to receive a first image having the first resolution from the content provision device; a display for displaying the first image; a memory for storing one or more instructions; and a processor for executing the one or more instructions stored in the memory, wherein the processor changes, from the first resolution to a second resolution, the requested resolution requested of the content provision device, receives a second image from the content provision device in response to the change of the requested resolution, controls the display so that the received second image is displayed, and determines whether an error is generated from the displayed second image so as to change the requested resolution from the second resolution to the first resolution on the basis of the generation of the error of the second image.
