Abstract:
This display device (10), which has a light-guide section (33) through which video light propagates while undergoing total internal reflection, optics (24) that introduce said video light into the light-guide section (33), and light-extraction sections (34, 36) whereby the video light propagating through the light-guide section (33) is outputted from a viewer-side surface (S9) of the light-guide section (33) over a propagation-direction extent thereof, is provided with a window member (50) that faces the viewer-side surface (S9) of the light-guide section (33) with a gap (51) therebetween.
