Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a disposable absorbent article in which a top sheet and a middle sheet on a back surface side are joined without obstructing visibility of openings in the top sheet. [Solution] An absorbent article having a top sheet constituting a usage-side surface, a liquid-impermeable sheet provided on a back surface side, and an absorbing element interposed between the top sheet and the liquid-impermeable sheet, wherein the top sheet is a perforated nonwoven fabric in which numerous openings 14 penetrating from front surface to back surface are formed at intervals in each of the front-rear direction and width direction of the product, the liquid-permeable middle sheet is provided such that the liquid-permeable middle sheet is joined at numerous joining points 15 to the back surface side of the top sheet by heat bonding or ultrasonic bonding, the area of the openings 14 is 1-30 mm2, and the area of the joining points 15 is 0.12-20 mm2 and smaller than the area of the openings 14.
