Abstract:
A disposable diaper wherein the gap occurring between the wearer's skin and leakage preventive cuffs formed on both sides of a crotch region is reduced. A disposable diaper (1) has a pair of cuffs (32, 33) extending in the front-rear direction (A) on both sides, respectively, of a crotch region and capable of stretching and contracting. One (32) of the pair of cuffs includes first elastic members (47) on the outer peripheral edge thereof. The other (33) of the pair includes a base edge section (44) fixed to the inner surface of said cuff (32), and also includes second elastic members (49) attached to a free edge section thereof. A third elastic member (60) is attached to at least either of the pair of cuffs (32, 33) so as to be adjacent to the portion to which the base edge section (44) is fixed.
