Abstract:
A disposable diaper (10), wherein a front waist region (13) has an inner layer sheet (21) and an outer layer sheet (23) formed from a fiber nonwoven fabric, a first elastic body positioned at least at a waist opening edge (19a), a front upper waist elastic body (second waist elastic body) (27A) positioned between a front end edge (53a) of an absorbent chassis (12) and a front end edge (43a) of an absorbent core (43), a first elastic region (71) having elasticity due to a stretchable sheet (30) that serves as the first waist elastic body, and a second elastic region (72) having elasticity due to the stretchable sheet (30) and the front upper waist elastic body (27A). The first elastic region (71) is positioned between the waist opening edge (19a) and the front end edge (53a) of the absorbent chassis (12), the second elastic region (72) is positioned to a crotch region (15) side of the first elastic region (71), and the elongation stress of the second elastic region (72) in a horizontal direction (X) is greater than the elongation stress of the first elastic region (71) in the horizontal direction (X).
