Abstract:
A door checking device comprises: a rod member having a first rod section, a second rod section, and a joining member that joins the same; a cylinder member into which the rod member is inserted; and a valve unit. The valve unit comprises an elastic member, a first valve body, and a second valve body. The first valve body and the second valve body are mounted on both ends of the elastic member. The first valve body is engaged with the peripheral edge of a first opening formed on the other end of the first rod section, and the second valve body is engaged with the peripheral edge of a second opening formed on the other end of the second rod section. The same elastic member biases the first valve body to the first opening and biases the second valve body to the second opening, so one elastic member is sufficient for generating the holding force. Moreover, the door checking device configuration is simplified because it is unnecessary to seal the elastic member.
