[Problem] In a double container in which a bottomed cylindrical inner container is housed in a bottomed cylindrical outer container, the inner container and the outer container are configured to be easily detachable. [Solution] A double container (1) is composed of an outer container (20) that has a circular cross-sectional shape on an inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical body and formed of a highly rigid material, and an inner container (10) that has a non-circular cross-sectional shape on an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body. the inner container (10) having the radius of a non-circular circumscribed circle larger than the radius of the inner peripheral surface of the outer container (20) and being elastically deformed and fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the outer container (20) when the directions of cylinder axes are parallel to each other in the outer container (20).
