Abstract:
A downhole pulse signal generator, a method for transmitting pressure pulse in a fluid using a signal generator, a drill collar having a signal generator, and a drilling device. The signal generator comprises a shell (1). The shell (1) is provided with a hollow cavity as well as a mud inlet (20) and a mud outlet (21) separately communicated with the hollow cavity. The hollow cavity is provided with: a primary valve (4) and a secondary valve (6) arranged in sequence along the flow direction of mud; a primary rotating piece (5) for driving the primary valve (4) to rotate, and a secondary rotating piece (8) for driving the secondary valve (6) to rotate, rotation of both the primary rotating piece (5) and the secondary rotating piece (8) being driven by the mud; and a mud displacement adjustment unit for adjusting the overflow quantity of an overflow channel (22) so that the difference between the displacement of mud flowing through the primary rotating piece (5) and the displacement of mud flowing through the secondary rotating piece (8) is an adjustable variable, and the primary valve (4) and the secondary valve (6) can operate at an adjustable rotating speed difference.
