Abstract:
The present invention relates to a drain pump and a washing apparatus including the same and, more specifically, to a drain pump improved so as to reduce noise, and a washing apparatus including the same. To this end, provided is the washing apparatus comprising a tub in which washing water is accommodated, a drum rotatably accommodated inside the tub, and the drain pump for draining the washing water inside the tub, wherein the drain pump includes: an impeller for forcibly discharging the washing water; a housing in which the impeller is rotatably provided; an inlet pipe communicating with the housing so as to allow the washing water in the tub to flow into the housing; an outlet pipe communicating with the housing so as to allow the washing water inside the housing to be discharged; and a communicating part for guiding, to the inlet pipe, the washing water inside the outlet pipe.
