Abstract:
The present invention relates to a drainage pump driving apparatus, and a laundry treatment machine including same. A drainage pump driving apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an inverter for converting, by a switching operation, a DC power source from a converter into an AC power source, and outputting the converted AC power source to the drainage pump motor; an output current detecting unit for detecting an output current flowing through the motor; and a control unit for controlling the inverter, wherein the control unit controls the inverter to be turned off when the output current flowing through the motor decreases while the speed of the motor increases during a predetermined period of time during a motor operation. Accordingly, it is possible to protect an internal circuit element when the motor is out of phase.
