Abstract:
Provided is a drip-proof device for a passenger conveyor, which enables maintenance work in a machine room to be performed more efficiently. This drip-proof device for a passenger conveyor is provided with: a gutter 61 which is provided to a floor plate 5 for opening and closing an opening 12 formed in a machine room 11 and which receives water flowing through the gap between a wall surface of the opening 12 and the floor plate 5; and a gutter displacement device for displacing the gutter 61. The gutter 61 is displaced between a water receiving position where the gutter 61 receives water flowing through the gap, and a stowed position where the floor plate 5 is removable from the opening 12. The gutter displacement device has a rotating body 62 which rotates when operated, and a rod 63 which displaces the gutter 61 when the rotating body 62 is rotated.
