Title:
DRIVE CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STARTING AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE OF A DRIVING HYBRID VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/034513
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a drive control system (1) and to a method for starting an internal combustion engine (2) of a driving hybrid vehicle, comprising an internal combustion engine (2) and an electric machine (3), wherein the internal combustion engine (2) is connected to the electric machine (3) by a separating clutch (5), and the electric machine (3) is connected to the drive shaft by a transmission (4), a start requirement determination device in order to determine a requirement for starting the internal combustion engine (2), and a supporting control device in order to increase the output torque of the electric machine (3) if a requirement for starting the internal combustion engine (2) is detected, wherein the additional drive torque of the electric machine (3) necessary for starting the internal combustion engine (2) is determined or estimated, wherein the additional drive moment of the electric machine (3) is separated into an electric portion and a kinetic portion. The kinetic portion is transmitted from the drive shaft to the electric machine (3) and/or the internal combustion engine by the transmission (4), wherein the kinetic portion is determined as a function of vehicle state data.
