Abstract:
Power balance is achieved between first and second motors and fuel efficiency of an electric vehicle is improved. The drive controller of an electric vehicle comprising first and second motors, a differential gear having first through third rotary elements where the first rotary element is coupled with the first motor, the second rotary element is coupled with the second motor through a transmission shaft (15), and the third rotary element is coupled with an engine (11), a transmission (18), a motor control means for controlling the rotational speed of the first motor according to speed change by the transmission (18), and a power regulation means for regulating power consumption of the first and second motors. Since power balance can be achieved between the first and second motors, power supply from a battery to the first and second motors is not required and fuel efficiency of an electric vehicle is improved.
