Abstract:
A drive system that is suitable for use in a bicycle includes a pair of pedals (9) that are mounted on a lever system (1, 2, 6) for substantially rectilinear reciprocating movement, and a hydraulic drive (10) connected to the pedals through the lever system for transferring drive to at least one of the bicycle wheels.
