Abstract:
This driving circuit for a switching element reduces loss due to a negative bias voltage, prevents breakdown of the switching element due to a surge voltage, and prevents erroneous firing of the switching element due to switching noise. Provided is a driving circuit for driving a switching element, the driving circuit comprising: a control unit that has a first terminal connected to a gate terminal of the switching element and a second terminal connected to a source terminal of the switching element, and that outputs a control signal from the first terminal to the gate terminal; a first capacitor and a first resistor connected in parallel to each other; and a second capacitor and a second resistor connected in parallel to each other. The gate terminal and the first terminal are connected by a first connection line. The first capacitor and the first resistor are connected in series to the first connection line on the gate terminal side thereof. The second capacitor and the second resistor are connected in series to the first connection line on the first terminal side thereof.
