Abstract:

This drum-type washing and drying machine is provided with: a water tank (2) which has an opening (7) on the front side of a housing (1); a drum (4); a motor (10); an air flow passage (16); a heat pump device (17); and an air blower (24). The heat pump device (17) is disposed at the lower part of the inside of the housing (1). The air blower (24) has a fan receiving section (24e) and an air discharge section (24f). The air blower (24) is connected in a communicating manner to the heat pump device (17). The upper part (24c) of the fan receiving section (24e) is located above the lower end (2a) of a water tank rear section (2c). The configuration makes the housing (1) compact because the water tank (2) is disposed at a lower position and, at the same time, provides the drum-type washing and drying machine with satisfactory drying performance.
