Abstract:
Provided in the present invention is a drum washing machine capable of reducing useless internal space and thus increasing wash capacity or reducing installation space. The drum washing machine of the present invention is provided with: a drum (3) having the shape of a roughly-bottomed cylinder opened at the front surface thereof; a rotary shaft (5) mounted on the rear surface (33) of the drum (3); and bearings (7) rotatively and freely supporting the rotary shaft (5), also, multiple rows of tapered roller bearings are employed as the bearings (7).
