The present application relates to the technical field of batteries, and provided within are a drying apparatus and a coating device. The drying apparatus comprises a drying chamber and a heating assembly; the drying chamber is used for accommodating a member to be dried, the drying chamber has a first drying side facing the member to be dried, and the first drying side is provided with a plurality of first fluid intake parts that allow a fluid medium to enter into the drying chamber; the heating assembly is arranged on the first drying side, and the heating assembly is configured to dry the member to be dried; the first drying side is further provided with fluid return parts, at least one fluid return part is arranged between adjacent pairs of first fluid intake parts, and the fluid return parts are configured to allow a fluid medium within the drying chamber to be removed from the drying chamber. Fluid return parts that are arranged between two first fluid intake parts are able to remove a fluid medium between said two first fluid intake parts and carry away heat, heat is prevented from accumulating between said two first fluid intake parts, and the heating uniformity of a member to be dried is improved.
