Abstract:

A drying apparatus and a washing and drying machine including the same according to the present invention circulate only a part of moist air introduced from a drum, discharge the other part of the moist air through an exhaust port, and introduce, into a drying duct, mixed air formed by mixing the circulated moist air with outside air introduced through an intake port, so as to supply air to the drum. Accordingly, it is possible to circulate air having a low moisture content, thereby improving the drying performance of the drying apparatus. In addition, an intake fan or an exhaust fan is disposed adjacent to the exhaust port so as to mix moist air with outside air and discharge air having a low moisture content to the outside of a cabinet or quickly discharge air, discharged through the exhaust port, to the outside of the cabinet by the exhaust fan, so that dew condensation occurring inside the cabinet can be prevented.
