Abstract:
The invention provides an economical vehicle engine. As is well known, vehicles now adopt engines with constant power widely. When a vehicle travels under full load, the power of engine is highly utilized. However, when a vehicle runs without load, half of the power does dead work, thereby the energy sources are heavily wasted. In order to overcome the problem, the invention provides a main engine and a secondary engine, which are joined together via an axle housing. A crankshaft coupling of the main engine and a crankshaft coupling of the secondary engine are provides in the axle housing, they are used to control the drive force to combine or separate. At the side of the axle housing and the secondary engine, there is provided an output device to supply power for the secondary engine. As the vehicle runs under full load, the crankshafts of main engine and secondary engine cooperate to output maximal power. When the vehicle runs without load, the secondary engine is stopped, only the main engine works. Thus nearly half of fuel (43%-49%) is saved. As the vehicle runs under few loads, it is possible to operate the main engine merely, thereby the 20%-35% of fuel can be economized.
