Abstract:
Provided is an eddy current-type reduction gear which has excellent durability even when exposed to a 700°C thermal cycle. An eddy current-type reduction gear according to the present application comprises: a stator including a cylinder and a plurality of magnets arranged on the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder; and a rotor including a cylindrical portion for accommodating the cylinder. Provided on the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion of the rotor, in order from the inner circumferential surface, are: a first layer composed of a Ni-P alloy, which is a Ni alloy containing P with the remainder comprising Ni and impurities, or a Ni-B alloy, which is a Ni alloy containing B with the remainder comprising Ni and impurities; a second layer composed of nickel; a third layer composed of copper or a copper alloy; a fourth layer composed of a nickel alloy; and a fifth layer composed of nickel.
