Abstract:
An edge sewing machine, comprising a machine base (1) and a machine head (2) arranged on the machine base (1). A machine needle assembly (3) and a machine needle driving mechanism for driving the machine needle assembly (3) to act are arranged on the machine head (2); a swing arm (4) and a swing arm driving mechanism for driving the swing arm (4) to swing are arranged on the machine base (1); a thread hooking device (5) obliquely extending upwards to a position right below the machine needle assembly (3) is arranged on the swing arm (4); a sensing probe (6) configured to sense the outer contours of shoe soles of different sizes so as to control the swing arm (4) to swing along with a topline is further comprised; a limiting controller (7) for limiting the swing angle of the swing arm (4) is arranged on the machine base (1). The edge sewing machine is simple in structure, easy in operation, capable of automatic arm swinging, and high in production efficiency.
