An efficient centrifugal pump with reduced abrasion, comprising an electric motor (1), wherein a heat dissipation cover (2) is provided on the outer surface of one end of the electric motor (1), a sealed junction box (3) is provided on the outer wall of the electric motor (1), a pump body (4) is provided at the outer surface of the other end of the electric motor (1), and protective pad blocks (5) are provided at the outer surface of one end of the pump body (4). During use, an auxiliary heat dissipation mesh (13) can improve the heat dissipation effect of the heat dissipation cover (2), thereby preventing an excessive load on the electric motor (1) caused by the temperature of same being excessively high, thus being beneficial for improving the efficiency of the centrifugal pump during use. A sealing ferrule (10) is beneficial for sealing a joint of a connecting flange (9) during use, can protect the joint of the connecting flange (9), and can prevent leakage at the joint of the connecting flange (9) due to ageing. The protective pad blocks (5) can prevent abrasion between the pump body (4) and a fixed base plate (6), and buffer, to a certain extent, vibration generated by the electric motor (1) during use, which is relatively convenient.
