Abstract:
The present invention relates to an efficient wireless power charging apparatus and a method therefor, the apparatus comprising: a plurality of transmission terminals each including a transmission resonance unit which transmits power by using a power source provided from a power supply unit and includes one capacitor and one inductor; a reception terminal including a reception resonance unit which receives power transmitted from a plurality of transmission resonance units and includes one capacitor and one inductor, and a load for performing charging by using the received power; and a control unit for determining a mutual inductance between each of the transmission resonance units and the reception resonance unit and an equivalent load impedance of the reception terminal, determining one of the plurality of transmission terminals as a reference transmission terminal to determine a current ratio between the reference transmission terminal and another transmission terminal, and determining an output current of each of the plurality of transmission terminals by using each mutual inductance, the equivalent load impedance of the reception terminal, and the current ratio between the reference transmission terminal and the another transmission terminal.
