Abstract:
Provided are an elastic crawler and an elastic crawler driving mechanism which suppress interference between pin members and engagement parts and for which the durability of the engagement parts is improved. The elastic crawler has on the inner circumferential side thereof a plurality of engagement parts (14) which can engage respectively with a plurality of pin members (22) disposed in the circumferential direction of a sprocket. Each of the engagement parts (14) has pressure-receiving surfaces (14a) for receiving one of the pin members (22). The lateral side-view contour-shape of the pressure-receiving surfaces (14a) is formed by the envelope curve L1 drawn by the outer edge of the pin members (22) when the sprocket rolls on a plane with a virtual rotation body, such rolling being coaxial with the center axis of the virtual rotation body which has a rolling diameter D1 stipulated by D1=(engagement part pitch)×(number of pin members)/(π)×a and 0.9≤a<1.
