Abstract:
Provided is an elastic track configured so that: an increase in the vibration of a track-type traveling device during traveling does not occur or is minimized; and even if a rolling wheel traveling belt is damaged, a crack is prevented from entering the inside to thereby prevent the separation of a metallic core.
An elastic track (1) is configured in such a manner that: metallic cores (2) are embedded in a track body (4); and rolling wheel traveling belts (12), on which the rolling wheels of a track-type traveling device having the elastic track (1) mounted thereto travel, are respectively provided to both sides of the inner peripheral side of the elastic track (1) in the width direction thereof. In the elastic track, the metallic cores have wing sections (14) extending to ends of the elastic track (1), the ends being located on both sides of the elastic track (1) in the width direction thereof. The elastic track has reinforcement members (3) embedded therein, the reinforcement members (3) being located between the rolling wheel traveling belts and the wing sections which overlap the rolling wheel traveling belts when the elastic track is viewed from the inner peripheral side. The reinforcement members are formed in a belt-like shape between the rolling wheel traveling belts and the wing sections which overlap the rolling wheel traveling belts. The reinforcement members are flexible and have higher tensile strength than rubber which forms the track body.
