Abstract:
The present invention prevents occurrence of polarization reversal. In this elastic wave device (1), a plurality of first electrode fingers (61) and a plurality of second electrode fingers (62) are disposed on a piezoelectric layer (5). A plurality of third electrode fingers (63) and a plurality of fourth electrode fingers (64) are disposed on the piezoelectric layer (5). A connecting part comprises a second bus bar (82) and a third bus bar (83). The second bus bar (82) is disposed on the piezoelectric layer (5), and is connected to one ends of the respective second electrode fingers (62). The third bus bar (83) is disposed on the piezoelectric layer (5), and is connected to one ends of the respective third electrode fingers (63). A pressure relaxation layer (9) is interposed between the connecting part and the piezoelectric layer (5). When viewed in a planar view from the thickness direction (D0) of a supporting substrate (2), the pressure relaxation layer (9) is disposed so as not to reach a gap (102) between the first electrode fingers (61) and the second bus bar (82), and a gap (103) between the fourth electrode fingers (64) and the third bus bar (83).
