Abstract:
Provided is an elastomer reinforcement cord having improved rust resistance. The elastomer reinforcement cord 10 comprises metal filaments and a polymer material. The elastomer reinforcement cord 10 comprises at least one core strand 21 including a plurality of twisted metal filaments 1a, 1b and at least two sheath strands 22 each including a plurality of twisted metal filaments 11a, 11b, and has a double-twisted structure in which the sheath strands are twisted around the core strand. The proportion a of filling in the sheath strands which is the proportion of the area of the polymer material to that of space regions A inside the sheath strands is 52% or more and the proportion b of filling between the sheath strands which is the proportion of the area of the polymer material to that of a space region B between the sheath strands is 75% or more.
