Abstract:
Provided are an electric actuator and an electric brake device which can save space and can hold a reverse input with high accuracy. The electric actuator comprises a parking brake mechanism that has an engaged part (Hk) provided in a speed reducer (5) and a locking mechanism including a drive source configured to drive an engaging part to engage with or disengage from the engaged part (Hk), and that assumes a locked state when the engaging part engages with the engaged part (Hk). An electric motor (4) and the locking mechanism are arranged on one side of the speed reducer (5) in a rotation axis direction with respect to the speed reducer (5). A gear member (27) on the front stage side of the speed reducer (5) has: a first gear-shaped part (27a) that reduces the rotation of a rotor (4a); and a second gear-shaped part (27b) that is coaxial with the first gear-shaped part (27a), constitutes a second gear coupling with the gear member (25) on the rear stage side, and has an outmost diameter dimension smaller than that of the first gear-shaped part (27a). The engaged part (Hk) is provided in the first gear-shaped part (27a), and the engaged part (Hk) is disposed to face the locking mechanism.
