Abstract:
The present invention enables an actuator drive motor at which an anomaly such as failure has occurred to be halted/arrested in a shorter period of time without adopting a mechanical brake mechanism. The present invention is an electric actuator drive device having: a power source; actuator drive motors (11A, 11B) fed by the power source and for driving an actuator (B1); and a motor control circuit (C) for performing a regenerative braking operation on the actuator drive motors (11A, 11B). The electric actuator drive device has: an anomaly occurrence determination means (D1) that determines wither or not an anomaly has occurred at a needed location; and a regenerative braking means (D3) that, by means of the motor control circuit (C), performs a regenerative braking operation on the actuator drive motors (11A, 11B).
