Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an electric actuator with which it is possible to increase the transmissible torque without increasing the overall size of the actuator, and with which production costs can be minimized. In this electric actuator (1), protruding portions (12b) are formed in the vicinity of a nut insertion hole (12a) which is a support shaft insertion hole of a driven gear (12), which is a gear of a gear speed reduction mechanism (10). A flange portion (7b), which is a stepped portion that is larger than the diameter of the nut insertion hole (12a), is formed in a ball screw nut (7), which is a support shaft. Shaft side surfaces (7c), which are rotation preventing portions, are formed in the flange portion (7b). An end surface of the flange portion (7b) of the ball screw nut (7) which has been inserted into the nut insertion hole (12a) is brought into contact with the driven gear (12) in order to fix the axial direction position of the driven gear (12), and the protruding portions (12b) are brought into contact with the shaft side surfaces (7c), thereby making it possible for the driven gear (12) to rotate integrally with the ball screw nut (7).
