Abstract:
An electric blower (200) according to the present invention is provided with: axial diffusers (23, 24) having circumferential blades that are disposed axially downstream of a vane wheel (1); a rotor (7) and a stator (8) which are disposed on the radially inner side of the axial diffusers (23, 24) so as to overlap the axial diffusers (23, 24) in the axial direction; a first flow channel (17) which passes through both a suction opening (4) disposed in the vane wheel (1) and the flow channels of the axial diffusers (23, 24); an end bracket (13) which retains a bearing (11) disposed on the side opposite to the vane wheel (1) and in which an opening (15) is formed; a second flow channel (14), at least a portion of which passes an outer circumference of the stator (8) and the opening (15); and a connecting part (28) which connects the first flow channel (17) and the second flow channel (14). The second flow channel (14) is located at a position that is farther away from the vane wheel (1) than the connecting part (28). The opening area of the opening (15) is equal to or greater than the cross-sectional area of the flow channel at the connection part (28).
