Abstract:
Provided is an electric booster of which reliability can be ensured. This electric booster is provided with an input member that moves in a reciprocating manner as a brake pedal is operated, a thrust transmission member provided so as to be capable of moving relative to the input member, an electric actuator that causes the thrust transmission member to reciprocate, and an output member that is connected to the thrust transmission member and that transmits thrust imparted to the thrust transmission member from the electric actuator to a piston of a master cylinder. The electric actuator is provided with: an electric motor; at least two screw shaft members rotatably driven by the electric motor; and nut members that are engaged with the respective screw shaft members, each of the nut members being connected to the thrust transmission member. The thrust transmission member is connected to the nut members and/or the output member so as to be capable of swinging.
