Abstract:
In the present invention, a linear motion mechanism housing part (5B) is provided to a caliper body (5), and a linear motion mechanism (3) that presses a brake pad (7) against a brake disc (4) is housed in the linear motion mechanism housing part (5B). An outer wheel member (15) of the linear motion mechanism (3) is connected to one end of a boot (50), and a support ring (54) is connected to the other end of the boot. The support ring (54) is fitted to the outer wheel member (15) of the linear motion mechanism (3), the support ring (54) is abutted against an opening end surface of the linear motion mechanism housing part (5B), and the support ring (54) is fixed to the opening end surface by mechanical fastening, such that the end opening of the linear motion mechanism housing part (5B) is closed by the support ring (54) and the boot (50).
