Abstract:
An electric brake device is provided which improves control precision of braking by appropriately compensating for hysteresis of a load sensor. This electric brake device has a direct load estimating means (17) which estimates the brake pressing force using output of a load sensor (6), an indirect load estimating means (18) which estimates the brake pressing force without using output of the load sensor (6), and a hysteresis interpolating means (19). Upon switching between increased pressure and decreased pressure generating hysteresis in the load sensor (6), the hysteresis interpolating means (19) performs control using the estimated load of the indirect load estimating means (18) and without using the load sensor (6) within a prescribed range after said switching.
