Abstract:
The present application provides an electric braking device for a vehicle that can safely stop a vehicle even when a failure occurs. The electric braking device for a vehicle is equipped with a wheel brake (50) that is connected to a power supply mounted on a vehicle (60) and performs a braking operation of a brake mechanism (40) of wheels (41a, 41b, 41c, 41d) of the vehicle (60), wherein the wheel brake (50) comprises a motor (2) that has a first coil winding (2a) and a second coil winding (2b), which are two independent windings, and drives the brake mechanism of the wheels (41a, 41b, 41c, 41d) of the vehicle (60), a first control unit (1a) connected to the first coil winding (2a) of the motor (2) and controlling the motor (2), and a second control unit (1b) connected to the second coil winding (2b) of the motor (2) and controlling the motor (2), and the wheel brake (50) is provided on at least one of the wheels (41a, 41b, 41c, 41d) of the vehicle (60).
