Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electric compressor for a vehicle, which is capable of: primarily reinforcing the rigidity of a cover by forming a linear rib, an annular rib, or a connection rib on the inner side surface or outer side surface of a body part of a cover installed at one side of an inverter, or forming a hexagonal rib having the shape of a honeycomb structure; secondarily reducing vibration and noise transmitted from a compressor housing according to the operation state of a driving part and a compressing part; and preventing generation of resonant sound in the cover or damage to the cover.
