Abstract:
An electric direct-acting actuator of the present invention comprises a central shaft (11), an outer ring member (5) disposed on the outside of the central shaft (11), and a plurality of planetary rollers (24) integrated between the central shaft (11) and the outer ring member (5). One from between the central shaft (11) or the outer ring member (5) is supported so that it can rotate but not move in the axial direction and acts as an input member that is rotationally driven by an electric motor (12), while the other from between the central shaft and the outer ring member acts as an output member, serving as a non-rotatable support, that can move in the axial direction. A plurality of annular ridges (25) arranged at an equal pitch are provided on the circumference of the input member. Annular grooves (26) of the same pitch as the annular ridges (25) and into which the annular ridges (25) fit are provided on the outer circumference of the planetary rollers (24). Spiral ridges (27) of the same pitch as the annular grooves (26) of the planetary rollers (24) are provided on the circumference of the output member. The rotation of the input member causes the planetary rollers (24) to rotate and revolve around the input member in a fixed position in the axial direction, and thus it is unnecessary to support the planetary rollers (24) with a thrust bearing and the revolution of the planetary rollers (24) causes the output member to move in the axial direction.
