Abstract:

This electric drive device for a vehicle comprises a transmission shaft having two portions that have a first distance therebetween and are supported by two support portions of a drive housing, and an input shaft having two portions that have a first distance therebetween and are supported by two support portions of a power transmission housing, wherein, when the input shaft or the transmission shaft that has the longer first distance is one shaft, the input shaft or the transmission shaft that has the shorter first distance is the other shaft, the drive housing or the power transmission housing that supports the one shaft is one housing, and the drive housing or the power transmission housing that supports the other shaft is the other housing, the one shaft extends toward the other shaft across a first central axis, and the other housing accommodates a coupling portion.
