Abstract:
Provided are: a communication device having increased efficiency in the electric field coupling between electrodes, achieves increased device compactness, and has a superior electric field coupling method; a communication system; and an electrode. The communication device (100) is provided with: a first resonance circuit (121) that is connected in series with an electrode (110) comprising two conductive flat plates; and a second resonance circuit (122) connected in parallel to the first resonance circuit (121) and the electrode (110) connected in series. The resonance circuit constants are determined in a manner so that the voltage (V2) imparted to the electrode (110) is greater than the voltage (V1) imparted to the first resonance circuit (121) and electrode (110) connected in series, thus obtaining an electric field coupling electrode having an extremely large coupling strength at a target frequency.
